Rainbow Fest on June 17th had my Depanneur at the end of one!

June 17th, 2011, was a day for rainbows. The clouds were moving fast, and not all in the same direction. So we had a long ongoing mixture of sky and various clouds at various heights. Scattered short-lived showers through-out the late afternoon were the makers of those multiple rainbows. So many rainbows at the horizon but as many at different distances, hence seeing many of them landing on areas nearer to my location.


I have a digital camera, but though I've been using it for a few years, it still is finicky. Well, some would say the 'operator' was the problem, but NOOOOOO! It's the camera that has a problem I tell you!

It's the focus that is sketchy... heck, I'll say it is bipolar or suffers from multiple personalities. Often I have to resort to using the video option to get a clearer image, though at times I have to make do with a picture because I get unfocused videos; go figure.

So, amids all the pictures and videos I took inside an hour and a half of rushing from one window to another, I captured one rainbow that had the Depanneur7Jours at the end of it!

 I took three videos of that one rainbow,  and then made printscreens of the best frames of it. There might be a better way of getting a frame from a video, but since I have yet to tackle understanding how the 'lightroom' or other video manipulating programs work. I'm doing it the nitwit-way, my way... far from the highway....

So here are three shots of that rainbow. There are not that clear, losing quality with... my way, but hey, better than nothing.

 

Mmmm.. got them all on one line, yet in the preview they are not... Two were at medium size and one I had to put to small, so I put them all small.. and no-can-do... bah. Have problems with the layout, one problem is fixed, the font size of the description. I also got 'Blog archive' to show on one line. Remains changing the dark blue to the lighter blue, but that will keep... finding the right color coding int he HTML for that is looking too complicated for my little wee grey cells right now... Other things are not to my liking as well, like the background color for the post's body, the fact that my 'signature' still says 'extinct' etc, but that too will wait.

If you look closely at the two last ones, you will notice that the color of the trees and buildings behind the rainbow have their colors modified by the rainbow. It ends on the white truck and part of the left side of the depanneur (corner store).

I'll be posting more of the rainbows of that day later on. Too bad my camera could not take them fully. At one point, one was so wide it took three pics to get it all in width and it became a double one, then a triple one! But, the second and third barely show in the pics. I'll do my best to get all the double and that triple one showing clearly, but none of them are full; so sad...

Geez, I hear the morning birds' song already and it's only 03:40 AM here...  I had been trying to sleep for over an hour, but the restless legs got me so frustrated, I got up and decided to try to lighten my hair coloration.

Since I am sleeping at the keyboard, I'll be trying to go for my zzzzzzzzzz again.. though I do... drats! still have them! But I still want out of here, so posting and leaving.

PS: It is now... 04:44 AM... sigh... toying with html after many searches to get the how-to for some changes sure ate-up the minutes! The RLS seems to have calmed down completely though, so off me goes, again.
